Description
Room Service Server Job Duties Room service servers have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:Maintaining cleanliness of guest rooms by tidying up after guests have checked out or arranging for cleaning services as needed Preparing room service orders for delivery to guests’ rooms by recording order details in an electronic system or writing them on a receipt Collecting payment for room service orders from guests upon delivery of food and beverages Delivering room service orders to guests in their rooms Cleaning and restocking items in the room such as towels, linens, toiletries, and wastebaskets Taking guest orders over the phone and entering them into an electronic system Serving breakfast in bed or other light meals at designated times Filling ice buckets with fresh ice and adding bottled water to rooms Setting up conference rooms or banquet halls for special events by arranging tables, chairs, place settings, and other decorations.
