Responsibilities: -Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude. -Process customer transactions, including cash, credit card, and digital payments. -Accurately calculate and tender change for purchases. -Scan and ring up items using the point-of-sale (POS) system. -Answer customer inquiries and provide product information. -Maintain a neat and organized checkout area. -Ensure pricing and product information is accurate. -Handle returns and exchanges following company policies. -Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records. -Collaborate with team members to provide efficient and effective service. -Follow proper cash handling procedures and security measures. -Keep up-to-date with promotions and discounts. Qualifications: -Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role is preferred but not required. -Strong numerical and mathematical skills. -Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. -Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus. -Positive attitude and willingness to assist customers. -Basic computer skills. -High school diploma or equivalent.
