Description
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent. Valid commercial driver’s license with appropriate endorsements. CPR and first aid certification preferred. Good physical fitness and stamina. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience and the ability to work with children effectively. Knowledge of safety regulations and emergency procedures. Clean driving record and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities:Assist in the safe boarding and disembarking of students from the bus. Ensure students are seated properly, fasten seatbelts, and maintain discipline during the journey. Conduct regular safety checks on the bus before and after each trip. Communicate effectively with the bus driver, school staff, and parents as needed. Maintain a clean and orderly bus, ensuring it’s well-maintained and free from hazards. Handle emergencies and follow established safety procedures in the event of an incident. Assist students with special needs or disabilities, ensuring their safe transportation. Keep records of passenger counts, incidents, and other relevant information.
