Description
Assistant Teacher Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our team. The Assistant Teacher will work closely with the lead teacher to support classroom activities, create a positive learning environment, and assist in the development and implementation of educational programs. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the lead teacher to plan and implement daily lesson plans and activities. Support students in their educational and social development. Assist in creating a positive and nurturing classroom environment. Provide individual and small group instruction to students as needed. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher. Help with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources. Supervise students during activities, meals, and outdoor playtime. Assist with classroom management and discipline as per the established guidelines. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and behavior. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred. Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is a plus. Passion for working with children and promoting their development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle various learning needs. Knowledge of educational principles and techniques. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Certification in early childhood education is advantageous.
