Order Processing: Input guest orders accurately into the hotel’s ordering system, ensuring attention to detail and customization requests. Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with the hotel’s menu offerings, ingredients, and special promotions to assist guests in making informed choices. Coordination: Collaborate with the kitchen, bar, and serving staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery to guests. Special Requests: Handle special dietary requests, allergies, and any other guest preferences, communicating effectively with the culinary team. Up-Selling: Suggest additional items or promotions to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue. Feedback Handling: Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary. Requirements:Previous experience as an Order Taker or in a similar role in a hotel or hospitality setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest service. Knowledge of food and beverage operations, menu items, and culinary terminology. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously. Positive attitude, teamwork, and adaptability to varying guest preferences. Proficiency in using order processing systems and basic computer skills.
