Description
We are in search of a dedicated and organized Logistics/Distribution Officer to manage and coordinate our company’s logistics and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods, inventory management, and optimizing distribution processes to meet customer demands. Responsibilities: Coordinate and oversee the logistical aspects of product distribution, including inventory management, transportation, and order fulfillment. Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping through regular inventory checks and analysis. Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to coordinate timely delivery of products to customers. Assist in developing and implementing logistics strategies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Prepare shipping documents, such as invoices and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Coordinate with warehouse staff to organize and optimize storage facilities for efficient inventory management. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization within the logistics and distribution chain. Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and company policies related to logistics, transportation, and safety standards.
