Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Steward/Dishwasher to support our kitchen staff and maintain cleanliness in our restaurant’s kitchen and dining areas. The Steward/Dishwasher will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of dishes, utensils, equipment, and kitchen areas, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities:Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand Ensure clean and sanitized kitchen equipment and utensils Collect and remove trash and recycling Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and food preparation areas, including sweeping and mopping floors Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures Adhere to company policies and regulations Work collaboratively with kitchen and serving staff to maintain a clean and organized environment Requirements:Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Willingness to follow proper sanitation procedures and safety guidelines Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
