Description
The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, a nurturing demeanor, and a commitment to supporting the classroom teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment. As a Teacher Assistant, you will work closely with the teacher to provide assistance in various aspects of classroom management, student support, and instructional activities. Responsibilities:Assist the teacher in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by the teacher. Support classroom management by promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment. Help prepare and organize educational materials and resources for lessons. Assist with classroom supervision, ensuring the safety and well-being of students. Foster a positive and respectful relationship with students, parents, and colleagues. Help assess and record student progress, maintaining accurate records. Collaborate with the teacher to create a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere. Attend meetings and professional development sessions as required. Perform other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher or school administration. Qualifications:Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents. Basic computer skills. Willingness to participate in professional development opportunities.
