Responsibilities: Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities that meet the needs of the students Provide support to students in the classroom, including one-on-one assistance, small group instruction, and behavior management Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel safe, respected, and valued Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to develop and implement strategies for student success Assist with classroom management, organization, and maintenance of instructional materials and resources Monitor student progress and behavior, and communicate with the lead teacher and parents/guardians as needed Supervise students during transitions, meals, recess, and other activities throughout the school day Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings to enhance teaching skills and knowledge Adhere to school policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe and productive learning environmentRequirements: Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain certification) may be requiredBenefits: Competitive salary Health insurance Retirement savings plan Paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment
