As we strive to uphold our standards of excellence, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. Responsibilities: Receive, sort, and inspect incoming laundry items for stains, damages, and special instructions Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and folding machines according to established procedures and safety guidelines Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring proper loading capacities and detergent usage Use appropriate cleaning agents and stain removal techniques to treat stained or soiled fabrics Monitor laundry cycles and adjust settings as needed to ensure thorough cleaning and proper drying Fold, stack, and organize clean laundry items neatly for storage or delivery to guest rooms Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Perform routine maintenance tasks on laundry equipment, such as cleaning lint traps and checking for leaks or malfunctions Keep inventory of laundry supplies and report any shortages or replenishment needs to the Laundry Supervisor or Manager Follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredRequirements: High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a Laundry Attendant, Housekeeper, or in a related role preferred but not required Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment and laundry procedures is an asset Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality laundry services Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry laundry items and supplies Excellent communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededBenefits: Competitive hourly wage or salary based on experience and qualifications Health insurance Retirement savings plan Paid time off and holidays Training and development opportunities Positive and collaborative work environment
