Responsibilities: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users via phone, email, chat, or in-person Respond to and resolve help desk tickets and service requests in a timely and efficient manner Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals, including computers, printers, scanners, and mobile devices Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, network connectivity, and hardware components Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to escalate and resolve complex technical issues Document and track all support activities, solutions, and resolutions in the help desk ticketing system Conduct user training and orientation sessions to promote technology literacy and best practices Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems Stay current with technology trends, developments, and best practices to continually improve IT support services Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned by the IT manager or senior leadershipRequirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred Proven experience in IT support or a similar role, with a strong understanding of desktop operating systems, hardware, and software applications Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues across multiple platforms and environments Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is a plus Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are desirable Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices preferred Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededBenefits: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications Health insurance options Retirement savings plan Paid time off and holidays Training and professional development opportunities Positive and collaborative work environment
