Description
Job Title: StorekeeperJob Overview: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Storekeeper. The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and issuing goods, and ensuring the efficient operation of the hotel’s storeroom. Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of goods and supplies. Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels regularly. Organize and store items in designated areas, ensuring proper storage conditions. Issue items as per requisitions, following a first-in-first-out (FIFO) system. Monitor stock levels and place orders for replenishment in a timely manner. Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy. Collaborate with other departments to fulfill their inventory needs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storage area. Requirements: Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry. Knowledge of inventory management and record-keeping. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining stock records. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to operate relevant computer software for inventory management. Physical stamina for lifting and moving heavy items. Flexibility to work in shifts if required. Benefits: Competitive salary.
