Description
Position: School Bus Driver Responsibilities:Safely operate a school bus along designated routes, following all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior, including ensuring all safety equipment is in place and functioning properly. Assist students in boarding and exiting the bus safely. Maintain discipline and order on the bus, enforcing school rules and policies. Communicate effectively with school administrators, parents, and transportation department staff. Requirements:Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain composure and make decisions in stressful situations. Commitment to safety and the well-being of students. Position: Bus Attendant Responsibilities:Assist the bus driver in ensuring the safe boarding and exiting of students from the bus. Monitor student behavior during transit, ensuring adherence to safety rules and policies. Assist students with special needs, including securing mobility devices and providing assistance as needed. Communicate effectively with the bus driver and school administrators regarding any issues or concerns. Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior, including assisting with cleaning and sanitizing as needed. Requirements:Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
