Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle using proper lifting and safety techniques. Verify delivery instructions and addresses before each delivery. Provide excellent customer service and address any customer inquiries or concerns. Follow delivery schedules and routes as assigned by the dispatcher or supervisor. Inspect delivery vehicles for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during delivery operations. Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed. Collaborate with warehouse staff and other team members to ensure smooth delivery operations. Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred. Knowledge of local roads, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and packages. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
