Responsibilities: – Operate computer systems and peripheral equipment, such as printers and scanners, to process data and produce documents. – Input, verify, and update data into computer systems and databases accurately and efficiently. – Monitor computer systems for errors, malfunctions, or abnormalities, and troubleshoot issues as needed. – Ensure the security and confidentiality of data by following data entry procedures and security protocols. – Generate reports, charts, and graphs based on entered data using software applications such as Microsoft Excel or Access. – Assist in maintaining and updating computer systems, software, and databases as needed. – Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues. – Perform routine maintenance tasks on computer equipment, such as cleaning and updating software. – Follow standard operating procedures and guidelines to ensure consistent and accurate data processing. – Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies while operating computer equipment. Requirements: – High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in computer operations or related field is a plus. – Proven experience as a computer operator or in a similar role. – Proficiency in typing and data entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and speed. – Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software applications. – Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. – Ability to work independently and in a team environment. – Good communication and interpersonal skills. – Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. – Fluency in English is preferred.
