Job Title: AccountantLocation: Dubai, UAEJob Type: Full-timeJob Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights and recommendations to management Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness Conduct periodic audits of financial data to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors Assist with tax preparation and compliance, including preparing and filing tax returns and coordinating with external auditors Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement Provide financial analysis and support for decision-making processes within the organization Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and guidelinesQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred but not required Previous experience in accounting or a related role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across departments Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyBenefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the organization Supportive and collaborative work environment
