Description
Job Title: Warehouse AssistantJob Overview: We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our warehouse team as a Warehouse Assistant. The Warehouse Assistant will support warehouse operations by performing various tasks including receiving, storing, and distributing goods, as well as maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Responsibilities: Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the contents against shipping documents. Unload, sort, and store incoming goods in designated warehouse locations. Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to order specifications. Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies. Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging items securely and creating shipping labels. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and responsibly. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste. Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks on warehouse equipment as needed. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow safety protocols and operate warehouse equipment safely. Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.
