Key Responsibilities:• Maintain standard accounting procedures, including accounts payable (A/P), journal entries, and monthly account closures. • Ensure smooth execution of all financial operations. • Review and process expenses, reconcile accounts, and verify supplier invoices for accuracy. • Manage petty cash operations, including bill payments and cash count. • Execute account payable checks and wire transfers. • Assist departments with monthly account reconciliations. • Supervise the authorized account reconciliation process. • Handle all banking transactions and maintain accurate monthly records. • Prepare additional schedules for auditing purposes. • Analyze various general ledger accounts regularly. • Develop budget plans as required. • Prepare journal entries and consolidate general ledgers. • Compile monthly bank statements and reconcile accounts. • Provide documents to external auditors as needed. • Maintain internal expense records. • Oversee account reconciliation, tax computations, including COGS & Wastages. Requirements:• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Professional certification in accounting / Finance is highly preferred. • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures. • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Familiarity with financial accounting statements. • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process. • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Microsoft Dynamics. • Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables. • Accuracy, attention to detail & quantitative skills.
