Assisting with Financial Reports: Junior accountants often assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. This may involve gathering data, reconciling accounts, and performing basic financial analysis. Reconciliation: You’d help reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies or errors. Supporting Audits: Junior accountants may assist in preparing documentation and providing support during internal or external audits.
