Description
Factory supervisors are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a factory. They ensure that all employees are working safely and efficiently, and they may also be tasked with hiring new workers or training existing ones on new equipment or processes. Factory supervisors typically have a strong knowledge of their company’s products and services. They must know how each part of the production process works so that they can identify any problems quickly and resolve them effectively. Factory Supervisor Job Duties Factory supervisors typically have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:Coordinating with other supervisors to ensure that production goals are being met Assigning tasks to employees based on their skills and experience levels Monitoring inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure they are within acceptable ranges Reviewing reports on labor costs and efficiency rates to ensure that they are within budget guidelinesFactory Supervisor Job Requirements Factory supervisors typically need to have the following qualifications:Education: Employers typically require a minimum of a high school diploma or GED for a warehouse supervisor position.
