The Logistic Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the logistics operations, ensuring that goods move from suppliers to customers efficiently and cost-effectively. This role involves coordinating shipments, managing transportation schedules, tracking inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The Logistic Coordinator will also handle documentation, liaise with vendors, and solve logistics-related issues. Key Responsibilities: Shipment Coordination: Arrange and monitor the transportation of goods from suppliers to warehouses and customers. Ensure shipments are picked up and delivered on time. Inventory Management: Track inventory levels, oversee warehousing operations, and ensure accurate stock records. Vendor Management: Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners to manage schedules, negotiate rates, and resolve any issues. Documentation: Prepare and maintain shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, invoices, and customs documentation. Compliance: Ensure all shipments comply with local, national, and international regulations, including customs and export requirements. Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to logistics, such as delivery delays, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies. Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. Reporting: Generate regular reports on logistics performance, including shipment status, inventory levels, and cost analysis. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by keeping clients informed about the status of their shipments and addressing any concerns. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
