Description
Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional education or certification in Occupational Health and Safety (preferred). Experience: Entry-level position; previous experience in a safety-related role or relevant field is beneficial. Knowledge: Understanding of safety regulations, hazard identification, and risk assessment procedures. Certifications: Possession of relevant safety certifications (e. g. , OSHA 10/30-hour, First Aid/CPR) is advantageous. Responsibilities:Safety Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and safety training sessions. Training Support: Assist in organizing and delivering safety training programs and workshops for employees. Emergency Response: Support in developing and implementing emergency response plans and procedures. Safety Culture Promotion: Promote a culture of safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols among staff. Reporting: Prepare reports on safety performance metrics and trends for management review.
