Description
Job Title: CashierLocation: Dubai, UAEJob Type: Full-timeJob Summary:We are currently seeking friendly and reliable individuals to join our team as Cashiers. The Cashier will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The ideal candidate should have strong math skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers as they approach the checkout counter and assist them with their purchases Scan items and process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, as well as processing refunds and exchanges Bag merchandise neatly and efficiently, ensuring items are handled with care Answer customer questions and address any concerns or issues in a friendly and professional manner Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including cleaning and sanitizing surfaces as needed Monitor inventory levels and alert management when supplies need to be replenished Follow all cash handling procedures and security measures to prevent theft and ensure accuracy Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customersQualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail environment preferred but not required Strong math skills and the ability to count money accurately Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Friendly and outgoing personality with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysBenefits: Competitive hourly wage Opportunities for advancement within the company Employee discounts on merchandise Flexible scheduling options Supportive and inclusive work environment
