Description
Job Opportunity: Cashier* Responsibilities:Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience. Accurately process sales transactions using the cash register, including handling cash, credit, and debit payments. Issue receipts, refunds, or change as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Assist customers with inquiries, product information, and resolving any issues they may have. Bag, box, or wrap purchases as needed. Monitor cash drawer and ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded. Balance the cash register at the end of the shift and report any discrepancies. Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness when needed. * Requirements:Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar customer service role is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately. Proficiency in using cash registers, POS systems, and other related technology. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. High school diploma or equivalent. Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
