Description
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and sorting incoming shipments of goods and materials. - Check received items against purchase orders or invoices, and report any discrepancies or damages. - Label and tag items, and place them in designated storage areas according to inventory procedures. - Assist in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment to customers or other locations. - Load and unload trucks, vans, or other vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment as needed. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris. - Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling stock levels with inventory records. - Assist in performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks on warehouse equipment and facilities. - Follow health and safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve warehouse goals and targets.Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in warehouse operations or related field is a plus. - Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required. - Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. - Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects. - Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks such as counting and labeling. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Fluency in English is preferred.
